Henna (Temporary Tattoos)
Henna Tattoos (also known as Mehndi) is an ancient form of Indian Body Art that is completely natural, non-permanent and painless. The Henna mix is made from ground leaves called Lawsonia Inermis and is a 100% natural ayurvedic product containing no ammonia or harmful chemicals. Henna’s colour usually takes 2-3 hours to naturally stain (colour) the skins top layer. The colour is harmless and can last approximately 2-4 weeks depending on how the person takes care of the tattooed part of the skin.
Henna Tattoos were traditionally used in wedding ceremonies, celebrations or special events to symbolise love, happiness and prosperity. Nowadays, Henna Tattoos are quickly becoming a popular, trendy way to try body art that is both fun and beautiful, almost anywhere on the body; around the Naval, Wrists, Back of the Shoulders and Ankles.
Caution: Though the Henna mix is a chemical free product, a preliminary test is advised for those with sensitive skin to avoid irritation or allergic reactions before applying.
